A Cry For Help, Little Boy Lost
Thank you Lord! Jordon has been found! The mother got scared after seeing something on the computer and seeing her face blasted on the news. I’m very relieved and happy for Kim and her family.

Jordan Rolfe or Jordan Barry
Born March 10, 1999
Hgt.= 4 ft.
Wgt.= 50 lbs.
Hair= Dark brown, straight med.-short length
Scar on middle back, rash (eczema) on right arm and wrist, wart on right thumb.
Our dear blogger friend Monga Kim needs everyone’s help desperately in finding this child. Please, I urge all my friends and family to be on the look out for this poor innocent boy who was taken by his non-custodial mother under a supervised visit.

They fear that she might flee to Mexico or Florida. Please contact your local authorities if you spot this lady and child. He is a victim of child abuse by this evil woman and desperately needs help before anything bad happens to him. Please visit Kim’s site for more details. Thank you!
We love you Kim, hang in there! My prayers are with you and your family. And thank you BTude for the email to make me aware of this horrific mishap. I’d like to ass-whip her!

The 3 D’s
Update On My Hubby
Well, all I can say is: Thank you Lord for helping Charley to regain some strength, and improve on his condition. Sweet Lord, you have given me back my husband for a while longer. He is not completely well and will never be a hundred percent, but he has come a long way. He is not giving up the fight and I am so happy to see how much he is trying.
This hospital has made a big difference in his recovery, and the staff are wonderful and attentive. He is getting alot of help. There are 3 people taking care of him day and night. The RN, a CNA, and a RT (respiratory technician). And he also has a physical therapist who goes in and excercizes him, and a speech therapist who is teaching him how to swallow so that he can eat some real food again. They have been doing swallow tests on him the past 3 days, and today he had some peaches, carrots( which he didn’t like cause it was a little crunchy) and diced up chicken. A couple of spoonfulls each. And he did well considering he still has the trache and is still on the vent. They turn off the vent a couple hours in the morning and a couple hours in the afternoon and he seems to be doing okay. He gets scared, but he tries his best. He can also say a few words while he is off the vent. Thank you, Jesus! And I thank all of you for keeping him in your prayers.
And I would like to assure my children who are far away in different States, that their father is doing alot better than he was when they came to see him. You saw him at his worst, and I wish you could see him now. It would give you more peace of mind. I can now come home and feel a little bit more relaxed. I love you all, my children and my friends. Thank you for being there for me. MAHALO NUI LOA.

I’m Back!
Hello world, I’m back! I’ve been gone for a whole week staying in town at the Pagoda Hotel with the eldest daughter who was here from Modesto, CA. I have been out of touch with all of you wonderful people, and I’ve missed you all. Kamalani and I stayed at the hotel because it was only 5 minutes away from the hospital where Charley is now.
Charley is doing so much better at this new place. The Dr. taking care of him said that he wouldn’t have lasted 2 more days at St. Francis West. In other words, they were killing him there! They now turn the machine off for a few hours in the day, and he has been doing okay breathing on his own. They are weaning him slowly, and will be doing a swallow test in the next day or 2, and also a speech therapist will be working with him. He has a letter chart that he communicates with us now, he can move his arms around and they sit him up in a chair for an hour or 2 everyday. My children are so happy to see him the way he is now, because we really didn’t think he was going to even reach this point. And I thank the Almighty God for watching over him and showing us another place that has given him hope and strength.
The Dr. and nurses are really nice at Select Specialty, and Charley is happy to be there. He and one of the Respiratory Technician Bryan trade golf stories during the day. He has come a long way in the short time at Select. He couldn’t do anything at the other hospital and he was there for a whole month. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks at select and he looks and feels so much better. Now I can sleep at night without worrying too much. I couldn’t eat or sleep for the month he was at St. Francis, that it’s a wonder I am still capable of standing on my own 2 feet!
I thank God for giving me the strength to keep on going, and for helping my husband feel better. He is not quite out of the woods yet, but he is doing better than before. And I am still praying for him as he slowly recovers from this ordeal. And I thank all of you who have supported us with your thoughts and prayers. I love you all. Mahalo Nui Loa!

Update On Charley
Hi everyone. First of all, I would like to thank everyone for all your Birthday wishes. And thank you for still sending your well wishes and prayers for Charley.
Charley has been moved to a different hospital as of Tuesday night. This place is called
Select Specialty Hospital, and it is located in Queens Medical Center in downtown Honolulu. It is a longer trip for me to go and see him but I feel he will do better there. This place specializes in cardio-pulmonary care and has about 98 hospitals around the U.S.
He is doing better there in the day and a half that he’s been there, than the whole month that he was at St Francis West. His blood pressure is good and so is is heart rate. He looks almost normal compared to how he did before. He is not on all the medication that they were giving him at St Francis, and he is looking better and not so lathargic.
When I talked to the Dr. at this new place, he said that if he didn’t do something soon, Charley was headed for disaster. So he is putting Charley on more air support to rest his lungs for a few days and take care of the pneumonia that he still has. Apparently St. Francis didn’t do jack shit, but botch up his surgery, “accidently” pull his foley out that caused him to loose a whole unit of blood. They thought his bladder or kidneys was bleeding till they did an ultrasound and saw that his catheter had come out. Imagine walking into his room one morning to find 2 nurses in the room and my husband sitting in a pool of blood, trembling like he was going to pass out, and them not knowing what the cause was. I lost it, and went off on some of them! I almost had a breakdown, but pulled myself together and asked God for strength and to help my husband in his healing. Thank you Lord for seeing him through this. They had him on medication that would make his blood pressure drop really low and his heart would race alot. But he is much calmer now and his vitals are better. He did not like some of the nurse at St. Francis.
And when I told the Dr. at Select Specialty about how they made a mistake on his tracheostomy and had to do it over again a couple days later, he couldn’t believe what he was hearing. And he said he would be just as upset as I was. He also told me that St. Francis was a conveniency for the people on the leeward coast because of it being close for them, but he wouldn’t send any of his family there. And he assured me that the nursing staff at Select were more alert on things and that he would help my husband the best that he could.
When I went to see Charley yesterday, he was looking a whole lot better. When his machines would buzz, someone would come in right away to check if there was a problem. the machine beeps when he coughs or he makes a major move by himself. And they let him suction his mouth by himself instead of waiting for a nurse to come in and do it. He used to get so irritated at St. Francis because he had to wait for the nurses to do things. When he presses the buzzer at this new place, someone goes in to check him right away.
They are going to start him on therapy next week and also test his swallowing so that he can start drinking and eating. They are going to try to get him started on sitting up in a chair and help him to use his the parts that hasn’t moved in awhile. Alot of his edema has gone away so he’s not as swollen as before. So hopefully this place will help him to recover sooner. He looks alot happier now and more relaxed, his color is almost back to normal, and I thank God for keeping him strong through all this turmoil.
He is my heart and my soul, and I hope he can get better with better help. I wish someone had told me about this place sooner. Thank you for your time and your support. I love you all.
