My shadow
I bought my grand-daughter another pool today. The other one got pretty messed up and it was hard to clean cause it was so big. She had a ball playing in it today with her little cousin Delilah. Once she goes in the water, she doesn’t like to get out. Even in the ocean. I gave her the name “Kamalani o ke kai”, which means “child of the sea” in English. So now, she ends up being a little water baby. I have a hard time keeping up with her sometimes. She’s 2 yrs. 8 months, but has the intelligence of a 4 or 5 year old. She speaks like one too. So my husband, my daughter(her mom) and I find ourselves getting into arguements with her. And it’s hillarious because we look stupid doing so. But she’s such a joy to listen to, and watch. She has a great imagination for her age and she comprehends so well. You can read her a book, and she can tell you later what the story was about. Even when she watches a video or the television. She’s my shadow, I can’t make a move without her being right behind me, or beside me. Now that all my children are grown with thier own families, she is the one thing that keeps me alive and going. Me and my shadow.

I wanna say Happy Birthday to my daughter Priss who lives in Texas. Yeah, it was her birthday yesterday. Wish I could be there with her, but you know how it goes with us poor folks. I love her and miss her and wish her the very best of everything.

Dumbasses!
Yesterday evening my husband had an allergic reaction that made him severely ill. He couldn’t breathe, plus it was worsened because of his respiratory illness. We called 911, and of course the fire department showed up before the EMT guys as always. Then the ambulance arrives with the 2 EMT personel, and one of them was very, very rude and sarcastic. He started getting very bolsterous at my husband, who could not speak because he was having a hard time breathing. He was at the point of almost passing out and this fat shit EMT was giving all of us attitude. His partner on the other hand was such a gentleman and very respectful. I was almost at the point of telling this dumb fuck son-of-a bitch to get the fuck out of my house. We were already jittery about my husbands condition so we forget to look at his name tag. Well, anyway, doesn’t it make you wonder where some of these so called professional people get thier training? And how is it that they are not taught manners? Or do some of them get such a macho attitude because they graduated from some school to get a license for thier profession! This is not the first encounter of this kind that we have gotten from an EMT. About 7 years ago a similar situation with our nieghbors grand-daughter happened at our house. The neighbor brought her grandchild to our house, cause she was in a panic and didn’t know what to do. So we called 911. In the mean time while waiting for rescue to come, we performed CPR because the child stopped breathing. When the 2 EMT people came, they did not take over the CPR right away. They kept dalying around and tried moving her head and stuff. Then the Paramedics who also arrived at the same time, told them to hurry and do something and transport the girl right away. Sad to say the little girl passed on. I personally feel that had the EMT’s taken over what we were doing right away, she might have had a chance to live. The doctors in the emergency room revived her for a little while. Go figure! If it was my grandchild, I would have sued thier asses. And one of the EMT guys gave my nieghbor attitude and was yelling at her too. Then my yougest daughter got in his face at the hospital and he backed off. What I’m trying to say is, people like them should be more courteous and caring towards the ones that are hurting and worried about what’s goin on. I would like to thank the other paramedics and one EMT guy who approached me at the ER when I arrived a couple of minutes later, to tell me that my husband was doing okay and seemed to be getting better. Sorry, but I had to rant on this subject.

Rude town people!
My husband, my grand-daughter and myself went to the new WalMart on Keeaumoku Street yesterday. My husband is handicapped and uses oxygen 24/7, so he got one of the motorscooters that they have in the store for the customers use. We go looking around and when I find something that I want to look at, I make him park in the outside aisle where there is alot of room for other people to pass and he’s not in the way. The ladies with thier big ass shopping carts kept hitting him and not even saying sorry or excuse me. I swear there are alot of rude people in town! Even in the parking lot they kept honking thier horns at other people trying to park thier cars. What is it with the people who live in town? Don’t they know how to be courteous or a little more patient? They all must have hypertension or something that makes them so irritable. We don’t have that kind of problems when we go to the Kunia or Mililani store. In fact, the country people have more class! PTHHHHHH !! to all you rude people in Honolulu. I’m not saying that all of them are rude, but majority of them are.

Unbelievable!
I just found out today that my stupid step-daughter who happens to be incarcerated again is having another kid! She can’t take care of the ones she already has, and she’s having another child. This one will probably be taken away too, and will end up in someone elses care like her other two. I don’t know what to say or think about the whole shit. I feel for my grandchildren. It’s not thier fault that thier mother is a chronic druggie and lives only for herself and that fucking shithead boyfriend of hers. I hate the fact that my grandkids have such a loser for a mother who can’t seem to get her shit together. The drugs are more important than anything else. The only good thing is that my son has her son, and he is so loved by the family. He is well takened cared of, and is so happy where he is. I want to thank my daughter-in-law Z for taking him and loving him as her own. And I want to thank her whole family for accepting him as thiers and loving him. He is such a beautiful child! We went to visit them today, and it was so nice to see how much he’s grown and nourished. Tutu loves you so much Bruddah Man. You are with a good family. You are blessed. I gave you the name” Elua ho’okupu oke akua” because you are God’s second gift to us.
